Implantation bleeding/period?

Hi everyone, I was hoping you may be able to offer some experience if possible? I am 41 and my partner and I have been TTC on and off for the past 12 months. This last cycle, we used opk's for the first time and made sure we bd every second day. AF is due today (and I am normally pretty regular with AF) but for the last 2 days I have had very light bleeding, which I probably wouldn't have taken much notice of normally, but it has been teamed with a very small amount of clots (sorry for tmi), nausea, hunger and being really tired, even though I am getting really good sleep. I have 2 daughters have never experienced this with either of them. I tested yesterday afternoon and got a negative result. Your advice would be greatly appreciated

I don't really have any advice but didn't want to read and run. My suggestion would have been a very early miscarriage or chemical pregnancy though I'm not sure if you would have got a bfp or not before. Perhaps. In my experience clotting happens with a cp/mc.

I'm curious if you have had any resolution yet. Did AF show? Did you get a bfp? I don't have specific insight, but would say that sometimes we just have wonky cycles. It's hard because we analyze everything so closely so any minute change jumps out as us. It's enough to make one's head spin! Good luck to you!

Spudtastic, I was thinking the same thing. While I have no experience of this, I just felt too different to not think it may be this, if this makes sense. AF did show up and has been very heavy for the past two days, which was another indicator that it may have been a cp. thank you so much for taking the time to reply

Vonn, thank you for replying I am trying very hard to not symptom spot too much, but it is really hard not too! No BFP, just AF with a vengeance. I have my first appointment with a fertility specialist tomorrow, so hoping this may help us
