Implantation Question?

This is somewhat TMI, just a heads up!!
I have scoured Google and can not find any answers. I know implantation takes place 6-12 DPO and is coupled w/ elevated BBT's. According to Fertility Friend I was right where I needed to be for everything to line up. I have all of the classic symptoms including very sore breast. Feels like they're constantly being pinched.

On May 10th, 12DPO I had bright pink spotting. Not a lot, just when I went to go clean up after going to the bathroom (sorry for the TMI!)

The next day, Yesterday, I woke up covered in Blood and was so devastated that AF came a week early. It was a moderate day, somewhat hvy, not light. Just a couple of hours bleeding.
Then today back to bright pink spotting this morning, then stopped all together and the last 2 days my BBT's are down again.

I don't get AF very often due to PCOS, but when I do, I bleed a lot and for almost a week w/o fail. What is going on now is not normal.

My biggest question is, is it possible to bleed somewhat heavy for a day during implantation or is it always just spotting or light bleeding.
Has this happened to any of you?

Any advise is greatly appreciated!!

Hey there

I'm really no expert on any of this but from what other people have written I believe implantation bleeding is only meant to be very light bleeding/spotting.

Usually it isn't heavy but read around and some will have what they thought a regular period so don't loose hope although i don't want to give your hopes up but it could also be your AF and just odd. TTC is sooo confusing and symptoms are so similar that you could never know.

Usually form what I understand, implantation bleeding should not contain red blood. It should be pink or brown. Never enough to fill a single pad or tampon.

Thank you for your advice! I'm not holding out much hope for this cycle anymore. I started bleeding again today and my BBT's continue to be down. We're going to cont. w/ preseed and try soy isoflavones. I am very hopeful for the new cycle!

TTC is so up and down and confusing but it is going to be so much more worth is when we finally get our BFP!
