In labor and delivery

I woke up in my own blood, and cramping so headed to labor and deliver. They have me hooked up and baby is sounding good. I'm obsessing over the monitor.. It drops as low as 116 sometimes.. Is that normal? I'm 25 weeks. They don't seem too concerned as they haven't even checked my cervix yet..

I was just up at maternity assessment tonight. I had blood all over my underwear. Didn't have any pain. They checked my cervix and all is fine with baby.
My heart rate and respiratory rate were up though, they were gonna keep me in but they came back down so all good.

I was told anything between 110-180 is normal!

Thanks everyone. Baby is doing well- my doctor ordered an ultrasound, and he looks good as well as my placenta and fluid levels. I've had two prior episodes of unexplained bleeding- so it's really frustrating to hear I'm fine and be sent home. Not that I want something to be wrong, I just wish they could explain it because now I feel like I wasted their time

There is a huge possibility that he just isn't staying in one spot and the heart monitor isn't picking his heartbeat up as strongly. There were times when I was hooked up that it would go into the red and start beeping. They would just reposition it and it would go into his normal 130 range.

Glad all is looking okay. It must be so scary to wake up and see lots of blood :/
