I'm sat here crying because I'm in so much pain :( my skin is so sensitive at the moment, I feel like I'm being stabbed repeatedly :( parts of my body where there is less skin hurts the most. My joints, cheeks, chin etc.

Has anyone had this? I don't think I'm ill as I had a cold not so long ago. I feel like an old woman, I can barely walk because of the pain and holding Thomas is agony :(

Omg I get this, and only since having lo!! Yesterday I was laid up as I was in so much pain, my skin goes hypersensitive, even clothes hurt when they touch my skin, I also get shooting pains in joints, I thought it maybe had something to do with me having 2 epis when in labour with lo as they both failed, I'm going to c doctor next week about it, u know exactly how u feel, try taking paracetemol and ibuprofen xxx

I typically have neither of those in so I'm just trying my best to carry on :( I've suffered with it for a few years and it's awful. I've never thought to see my doctor. Maybe I should.

I don't think my labour made it worse. I had one shot of pethidine and gas and air x

Glad I'm not alone though!!

Nah it's not flu, I know when I'm coming down with something. I wish it was flu to be honest :( I suffer with it on and off, at least 4 times a month but it's driving me mad now :(

Fibromylagia/myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME)/Chronic Fatigue? Not trying to be an alarmist. I just have Fibro and that is what i have to deal with a lot. I am never NOT in pain of some sort.

I tried googling it a few days ago (stupid of me I know) and there doesn't seem to be any answers!! Really hope u feel better soon, is there anyone who can get u some painkillers? Xx

Don't worry I'm not about to self diagnose lol x I think perhaps I should see my doctor as I've had this pain for so long. So sorry you're in so much pain :(

Jo my oh takes tramadol so I think I'll have one of those x

Sounds a bit like fibromyalgia to me... I had a boss who had it once, and that is basically how she described it to me. I don't have it myself though, so can't really be more help than that.

:hugs: Hope you get some answers!!

Thank you all x I just feel so drained right now :( in addition to the pain I've had a constant headache for 2 days and even though I sleep whenever Thomas sleeps its never enough.

Not to be scary but have your liver function tests ever been looked at? Could be cholycystitis. This often causes intense itching all over. I am a nurse and have seen a few patients lately who have had severe attacks post partum.

I'd get to the GP. Not normal to feel this way.

I had liver tests in October 2010 because of overdose and was told everything was fine. I've not had them looked at since.

I'll make an appointment for tomorrow afternoon, I hope I can get this sorted quickly.

That was a long time ago. Anything can change, especially after pregnancy!

I hope all is well, but what you describe is not to be pushed under the carpet:hugs:

Thank you :hugs:

Gosh my hips are agony at the moment!!

This happens to me if I am sick, about to be sick, trying to fight off something, or have just gotten over being sick.

If my immune system is low it usually happens. The fact that you are sleeping a lot makes me think the same for you.
How well are you eating?

A few days of abstaining from unhealthy foods and gorging on water, greens and fruit usually does the trick for me.

I've actually had no junk at all for the past 11 days. Lots of salad, jacket potatoes, fruit etc. I too feel like this when I'm ill but I just don't feel ill at the moment.
