 h all, im new here and lost my little girl at 22 weeks due to ic, dh and i have just decided to try again and the hospital have promised a stitch this time round......ll i can say is im terrefied, i want this so badly but am finding im snappy at dh and myself, i know its because of fear and treppidation, sorry to rant just need some advice and encouragement that it can be done,X

:hugs: You must be absolutely full of so many emotions about your decision to try again. SOunds like the docs and specialists are on your side and you're going to be really loked after and monitored.

The stitch will do its thing!!! Are you in a position to put your feet up as much as possible during the next pregnancy? Or are you comitted work wise? Remember that as wonderfull as it would be to go 'full term', you just need to get your baby through that 'danger zone' and as far as you can after that. Believe in the stitch!!!!!!!

Hope I've not butted in!

xxxx

Must be scary for you hun and am sorry for your loss but hopefully the hospital will monitor you much more closely this time. Have a read of this thread - lots of girls here in a similiar situation

Hiya honey,

I'm so sorry for your loss, I can't imagine how difficult it must be for you. I started the other thread so you'll see my full story on there but just to give you some reassurance, I had 2mm of cervix left at 21 weeks pregnant and would have lost my little boy within the next couple of days. I had a stitch put in and carried full term, bed rest was tough but worth it. Good luck xxxx

Hi

I lost my little boy 18 months ago due to IC, he was born at 25 weeks. I am now pregnant again and 26 weeks tomorrow. I had a stitch put in and 14 weeks. Don't get me wrong its very hard emotionally, but I am now past the time I had my little boy and starting to hope this time it will work out. I am signed of work but not on total bed rest just told to take it easy. The chances of the stitch working are very high. Good luck to you xxx
