Last two days she has had very rapid violent movements all day to the point its now starting to hurt i just dont want to waste a trip to maternity triarge if im gonna be laughter at she never really had a pattern but theese movements are like no other. Could she be stuck ? If that makes sence x

Please definitely go in, you won't be laughed at. You're told to report any changes or decrease in movement so this sound like a change.

Frantic movement could mean baby is in some kind of distress or could also mean all is fine. Better to get it checked.

Let us know how you get on

Joy x

So went up and basicly they where laughting between them selfs that they never heard of being monitored for increased movements like i was 10 made me feel really terrible they monitored me for he an hour and told me to just drink more fluid as had extremly high blood pressure i disturbed there lunch so felt so be littled so gonna phone my own midwive in the morning and get her honest opinion as the pain when she is moving is ridiculus im already taking strong codien for my spd and pgp and it dosent help one bit its so confusing as her heatrate was droping when she was moving and it was massive drops she normally ideals around 145 and she was shorting up to 176 down to 120 so made me have extreme concerns but they laughted so I dragged my self in pain for absaloutly nothing as my initial idea was she was a bit distressed or something with the placenta as its antieria high so could have wrapped her self or something xx

That’s awful that they laughed at you, they don’t sound like caring professionals! No harm in phoning your midwife and letting her know your concerns and I’d mention how you were treated as well. Hope all is okay, better to check than be worrying x

How awful that they laughed at you, they sound incredibly unprofessional and I would definitely contact your midwife to double check and also make a complaint about how they behaved.
You should NEVER be discouraged from going in to get checked, especially not by a midwife.
I hope all is okay with you and baby:hugs: x

Is she head down already? My first did a load of frantic wiggling one day to end up head down. Although that is usually a but earlier than 32 weeks.

Yh she is head down already and still head down which is why we were so concerned still in pain just waiting to here back from my own midwife xx

That's just awful how they treated you. I called in to my nurse line last week for increased movement. It was a big change for my little guy. Movement wasn't extreme, but instead of 3-4 periods in the day, it was pretty much all day! Nurse said they only worry about decrease or lack of movement. In no way did she make me feel silly for calling. Sorry you had top experience that. Us mommas worry about the little humans inside of us!

Contact PALS at your local hospital and put in a complaint! They should not of laughed at you!

I always thought sudden increased movement was a reason to get checked.

Yh my midwive said any sudden changes in movement she said she will look at all the online notes and get back to me but tonight I've been having server period pains and a bit of bleeding so going to phone midwive again in the morning xx

How are you? It sounds like you need to get checked.

Wow, I'd definitely put in a complaint. Call triage again if you're having pain and bleeding, and say you want to be monitored again, as well as put in a complaint and you want the complaint dealt with straight away.

Hope all is well x

No one could tell where the pain was but they wanted to leep me in till baby was delievered but being a road away its just not visable with three kids at home they sent of bloods to see if there is an abnormality but a year and half ago i had a double umbilcal hernia repair where i had mesh fitted as we didnt plan then to have anymore kids so when we decided on we didnt kno the extent of side affects as there is no documented case study to any one falling pregnant so it could be due to the mesh ripping or reducing the growth she can do so ita all just hit and miss and well playing it day by day xx

I'm wondering if baby just wasn't engaging and possibly irritating your cervix a bit (or even starting to efface?) because I've been having the same issues. Baby has been soooooo active lately, literally his movements have become quite painful and I've noticed a lot of pressure on my bladder. When I pee it feels like I'm peeing through a straw so I'm assuming he's engaged and blocking everything down there. Like you, I had all my babies before their due dates and my last baby was a preemie at 35 weeks so I'm at a high risk of premature labour. Definitely keep an eye on things and I'd report anything out of the norm. Good luck, hun. Hopefully baby will continue to bake as long as she can.
