received via telephone im high risk for DS 1:110 so decided to go for the amnio, so upset and worried NT as 2.4, im 37, so worried about amnio, the results and risk of miscarriage, anyone else had the amnio??

I haven't experienced it myself. I know a lot of women who had the same numbers but didn't do the amnio because it wouldn't have changed the outcome. So if you don't NEED to know you could skip it and let time tell. If you feel you need the answers just make sure you are fully educated about the procedure. I wish you the best.

no i need to know as i know what i would do if the news wouldnt good, i cannot cross my fingers for the rest of my pregnancy hoping that everything will be ok, i need a yes or no answer, thanks for the reply

I am sorry you are going through this. Honestly your numbers are not that bad. I was 1 in 110 also because of my age, i was 40. And no the baby did not have DS it is just a number it doesn't mean your baby will have DS and like I said your numbers are not that bad and you have a better chance of having a baby without DS than having one with. I did not have the amnio but have had friends that did and most say it was 123 and they were fine after, but you do need to take it easy afterwards/ i wish you all the best and please don't worry i think your baby will be fine..OXOXOXOXO
