I was just wondering if being induced has any effect on when your milk comes in?

I was induced wit both of mine and the milk came around day 4/5.

Should I bring formula to the hospital? Also does it matter how far along you are when you're induced? I will be 39 weeks.

I was induced with both of my babies, my milk came in the next night, no problems at all, x

If you have alot of intervention/fluids which is more likely with induction it can slightly effect babies ability to suck and milk takes longer to come in but its just a case of givibg baby time to adjust so i wouldnt take formula in.

Anything from 3-5 days is normal for your milk to come in. The colostrum is enough in the meantime. I don't believe induction affects it xx

Agreed, I was induced with my first and had no problems nursing.... Good luck!

I've had natural births and inductions, and there didn't seem to be any difference in when my milk came in afterwards. It's the birth that stimulates it, not necessarily how the birth went down.
