Had my 6 week review yesterday and the doctor was very happy with how my wound had healed. I did a lot more housework and lifting yesterday than I had been and today a small section of my wound is red and inflamed. Can I just treat it myself with antiseptic cream at this stage?

I can't see why not, it should be healed well by now (as confirmed by your check) so I don't see what harm it would cause. Mine gets slathered in cocoa butter every morning after the shower to try and encourage skin tightening around my belly!

Ive been afraid to use anything on it buy now I know you are ill be slathering on thebiooil tomorrow! Have been putting sudocrem on the red bit and it seems to be clearing up.
