insemination and insurance

My insurance company is only covering diagnostic fertility procedures. I was just told this morning that I may have to have an insemination this cycle. Can anyone in the US that has had insemination let me know if this is something that insurance usually covers? I have been going to a FS for 3 months now and just with the co-pays, my bank account is getting drained and I don't think I can afford an insemination. Feeling very down right now and I don't want to give up. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. (anything to do with insurance confuses the heck out of me!)

hi sunflwrgrl, I didn't want to read and run, but as far as insurance covering insemination, I would think it depends on your insurance. Some insurance companies are great, others, no so much! good luck!
