I just wanted to quickly share my story. I had two consecutive early losses before conceiving my son. Seeing his face for the first time erased all of the pain I felt during the times I felt hopeless, or that I would never be a mother. I realized he was the baby I needed, and he needed me too. I snapped this picture when he was around 5/6 months, and when I looked at it closely, I couldn't believe my eyes...
Also, that is the fortune I got shortly before finding out I was pregnant with him :)

Thank you so much for sharing your story. I have also had two early losses. One at 5+2 then fell pregnant 3 cycles later which needed in a d&c at 9weeks. I am now on cycle 3 after my second loss and feeling completely hopeless as I feel like AF is making an appearance any day now.
Your story gives me hope and reminds me that life can be kind and the baby I will end up having is the one I am waiting for. Did you fall pregnant with your son naturally after your losses? He is so adorable. He was definitely worth the wait 😊

Wow, goosebumps on the photo and the fortune. What a stunning photo too!

Love Harrison's name- Max was going to be Harrison until about 7 months we decided it was too long with our surname. I know we have a different story, but hope and rainbows are always good to hear xxx

So beautiful. So happy for you and your rainbow. And what a cool fortune! Praying that our storms make rainbows too!

I also got some inspirational stories and blogs wanting to share with you all.

We have some things in common, Trying. I was reminded often that the fact that I could fall pregnant meant that I would most likely carry a healthy baby, to term. My first pregnancy was a chemical. Second was a BO that required assistance, I chose misoprostal, but a D&C was my other option. After that, my OB suggested waiting a few cycles to TTC again. We halfheartedly TTC 2 months later, only to have what I think may have been another CP. The next cycle we TTC (I used preseed for the first time, and started a regimen of baby aspirin and folic acid, and wore a St. Gerard medal) and fell pregnant naturally. I was scheduled for a HGC, but got pregnant before I could have the procedure done. My OB chalked my losses up to very bad luck.

Thank you, Thumpette. We also love the name Max. I'm so sorry for your loss. I really hope you have your rainbow soon <3

So sorry for your losses!!!! I see one was rather recent, too. I attribute a lot of my good fortune to increased folic acid, a daily baby aspirin and wearing a St. Gerard medal (even if I am not at all religious). Have you tried any of these avenues?

Yes. I am thinking mine are implantation failures, immune or lining related. Also chemical pregnancy #4 will be beginning any day now. So I really think one of those are my issue, just not sure how to get tested for them.

Hi jilliebean! My second was also a blighted ovum. The sac wouldn't pass naturally so ended up with D and C. I was given the choice to have that or misoprostol.
My doctor won't do anything until 3 losses so not even baby aspirin. I just hope that it's bad luck rather than something wrong with myself or DHs swimmers.
I use fertility lubricant conceive plus and take folic acid daily. I have a healthy diet and exercise regularly. There's nothing else that I can do other than that for now. It's just a waiting game.... In a sense I feel that we are trying again to loose it just so I can go for testing, I hope that I am wrong....
Your story gives us so much hope and reminds us that he/ she will be worth the wait 😊
