Anyone else?
I'm in bed and I'm in so much pain I cannot move. 😭😭
Had my section last week & on/off ive been getting excruciating back pain. Never felt so much pain , it's like spasms , horrible. I dunno what to do, I'm stil taking regular pain meds. My section wound is healing nicely and doesn't even bother me it's just my bloody back 😭😭 I feel like a 95 year old lady x

Oh my goodness, that was me a month ago!! The first night after the section, I had the most excruciating spasms in my neck/back every few minutes - couldn't sleep at all! Told it was gas. Back pain lasted for much longer - indeed between week one and week two or so, lying in bed was exceedingly painful after a while - I had no idea what it was! Still gas presumably. Totally disappeared one day:thumbup: Never had it with my prior sections though.
Congrats btw!

Gas pain eh? I wonder how I can get rid of that?
I've just woke up and my back is at it again 😭😭😭

I know when I had my section I was getting gas pain (in the stomach though) and drinking tea helped with the gas, you could try that. After not having a bowel movement I found that eating prune, apricot, and dates helped get things going so not sure if that would help too. I just figured there was no harm in passing on the info in case it helps you.

I've started taking a laxative at night time and I must admit my back pain has been better. I've also upped my water intake & drinking lots of fruit juices. I have had the odd spasm though , even though I've been going to the toliet 😁
I've defo had a better day today though which is good , and last night I could actually lie comfortably to sleep x
