Intense sharp nipple pain?

Hi!

I just wondered if anyone is experiencing a similar thing and if there are any solutions / remedies for this. I have extreme pain / discomfort that feels like there is a hot spike going through the tip of my right nipple. Sometimes worse than others but it has been there all day & taking paracetomol eased it for an hour but other than that I have no clue how to stop it. I am sitting at my desk at work itching to grab it everytime the pain gets intense in the hope of somehow easing it. Help! Haha xxxx

I had the same thing with my first pregnancy and sadly there is no remedy. If I remember correctly, it was gone by the end of the first trimester. It's a good sign though, hope this helps!

Same for me as pp. I had it with my first pregnancy and it seemed to go away quickly!

I'm just heading into second tri and although mine hasn't eased up just yet, nor have my other symptoms so I'm holding out hope they will. I've had my nipple pierced before and liken it to the pain I felt in the week afterwards. Ouchies. As PP said its all a good sign. Cool shower helps me sometimes x
