Has anyone tried the intermittent fasting during ttc? I have read multiple reviews, some say that if the woman consumes all the necessary macros the intermittent fasting helps balance LH, FSH, estrogen and progesterone (as well as helps lose extra weight), while others say that all types of fasting while TTC is not recommended.

Any thoughts?
 
Honestly I have never heard of this and i haven't seen it on BnB before. I have never dared to try fasting because I have chronic headaches, when I don't eat a meal on time I get a pounding migraine.
 
When I first started TTC, I was on a calorie-restricted/IF type diet. I was eating tons of fruits and veggies, which is awesome in theory but may have had serious consequences. (One can eat a lot of produce and still be under like 600 calories for the day!) It turns out that I had conceived and only realized it when I was miscarrying, very very early - more like a chemical pregnancy. I really do feel that if I had been eating more calories the outcome may have been different. I decided to save any diet stuff for later, and now I'm 29 weeks pregnant :) Please note I have not consulted any science on this, this was just my experience. Good luck!
