Well as you know i'm thinking of combination feeding Callum! I was just wondering is it okay to jut give him a bottle of formula straight off? Or do i have to slowly introduce it or what? Confuseeed! :dohh:

I would say try to mix part BM and part formula may be easier on his tummy ..then slowly reduce the BM and he should be okay ..ive heard aptamil is closest to breastmilk so may want to look into that

Not sure what the best approach is hun. When I've given Hebe some formula early on, I used Aptimil and I gave it to her straight ie. not mixed. She was fine - the only thing I'd say is she drank very fast from the bottle and was much sickier with it so if you do I'd break him off to wind inbetween so he doesnt guzzle. :)

How are your nips chick??

Ooh thats perfect cos Aptamil is the one i chose! :)
I'm just gona go straight ahead and give him a bottle later on because all the measuring and stuff seems very confusing and adding BM etc would be to confusing for me haha!
This might sound realllly stupid, but it says on the instructions to let kettle boil for half an hour before making up the feed. how would you know when to do it? because i just feed him when he's hungry..? so i wouldnt know half an hour before!

Lisa- They are a little better now, they were great for a couple of days and now they are starting to get a bit funny again! Bloody things!!

I only bought the ready made little cartons so I'm not sure about the kettle thing.

You sound a lot chirpier now hun - so glad you're doing better :hugs:

I make my Aptamil feeds up in advance and put them in the fridge Tone. Don't know if that helps. I always do about 24 hours worth of feeds. xx
