Hello All! :flower:

-My name is Holly. I am 21 years old. I have been married since October 2013 (yes I got married at 19). I live in a small town in Tennessee, and I love the close-knit life. I'm a CNA (certified nursing assistant) and I've worked in a nursing home for almost 3 years.

-My husband and I tried to conceive before we even got married. We started in June of 2013, and in the middle of May 2014, my husband and I went on a little vacation. In the end of June 2014, 5 days past my expected period, I got a severe migraine headache accompanied by nausea. The next morning, I was violently ill. On a whim, I took a pregnancy test with FMU. The control line came in dark, but there was a faint test line. I sat on the side of the bathtub to watch it grow darker. I couldn't contain my excitement, the moment I had waited for had finally come! I showed it to my husband who stared at it for maybe 5 minutes without moving or talking. Later that day I went to the local health department where it was confirmed I was with child. The next day I went to a OB/GYN who also confirmed pregnancy and said I was 4 weeks and 5 days pregnant. All was determined fine, and an appointment at 10 weeks was scheduled. On July 14, 2014, I woke up with intense cramps but thought nothing of it. The cramps stopped, and I went about my time. On the 14th I was 6 weeks and 3 days. August 11th, I went for my 10 week appointment. I was excited to maybe see my little bean and hopefully hear the sweet heartbeat! The nurse had the screen away from me, but the look on her face told me what I didn't see..She walked out and returned with another nurse. The 2nd nurse turned the screen around and showed me my child. A small bean-shaped dark mass. Nothing really seemed wrong till she told me there was no heartbeat. She said by the measurements that the baby had been deceased for around a month. How could this be happening! I didn't have any bleeding. I just had some mild cramps. They did a D&C, and had to scrape my unborn child off of my uterine wall...The physical pain and blood after was nothing compared to the emotional and mental pain that I felt..

After all that, my husband and I have tried to cope. We decided a week ago that we want to try for our rainbow baby. So, I'm here TTC #1.

I'm looking forward to chatting with you ladies and hopefully 2015 will bring us all rainbow babies.. xx

so sorry for your loss :hugs: and the very best of luck getting your rainbow baby :flower:

I'm sorry for your loss MrsNeal.

I am glad you're trying again though. :) I'm sure you'll find lots of support here. What cycle day are you on?

I'm sorry for your loss. It's not easy losing your little one, and I understand the physical and emotional pain of having to have a D&C for it.

Fingers are crossed for you and your husband! Good luck! :)

Sorry for your loss. Hope you get your rainbow baby soon!
