As some of you read Nicole was born on 7-12-12 at 38+1 weeks, at 10:55pm and she weighted 7lbs5oz, her lenght was 19 3/4in.
I started having contractions at 3:30am that day,they kept me awake so after tossing and turning in bed for an hour I decided to get up at 4:30am and drank a chamomille tea,and decided to time them they were 3-5min apart but weren't very strong so told OH to ring his job and tell them he was gonna be late so he could take me to the clinic,we went to the clinic at 9am just to be told to go to the hospital,so we went home grab our things and DS stayed with my mom, I still didn't want to go to the hospital because contractions weren't that strong. At the hospital I got checked and I was 4 1/2cm dilated so got transfered to the labor n delivery floor,I even did my makeup lol,well contractions started getting stronger and stronger but I wasn't dilating more,around 7:00 pm I felt a pop and started to leak fluid I told the nurse and she kept telling me it was only mucous,more water came out and she said it was just pee because the little paper they taste the liquid didn't change color,well got checked again and I was only 5cm,I wasn't coping with the pain so I got some medicine in my iv and I felt soooo good lol but it only lasted 2 hrs and then couldn't get more because my LO's heartrate kept dropping,my contractions were extremely strong and my body was pushing by itself and got yelled at not to push because I wasn't ready to push and that I was just putting my baby in distress by doing that and I was gonna end up with a c section, the doctor conviced me to get an epidural because "I was only 5 and I needed to control the pushing"so I got it but it never worked grrr and guess why it didn't work because I was ready to push, the next 2 contractions 8 yelled at them that I didn't care I was gonna push and they kept yelling me not to because I had just gotten checked 20min ago and I was 7cm so I told the nurse"I don't care try to feel what I am feeling"and the doc checked me and yeah her head was right there, I felt the ring of fire and everything else but it wasn't that bad, I would never change that feeling when her little body slipped out of me. I didn't tear not even a graze,I believe because I was pushing when my body felt like pushing n not when they were telling me to push. We are working on breastfeeding and I really hope it works for us. I am extremely happy. Thank you all for your best wishes
