My thing is that I don't have a period unless I am on birth control. Me and my husband (who is in iraq) do want to work on our baby when he gets back. Has anyone had anything like this, or know anyone like this? Just wondering will it be difficult to get pregnant, or if clomid be my perfect candidate.... Praying that this will not be a difficult journey... Really want a baby

Didn't want to read and run :) Have you seen a FS about your cycles? I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but in order to get a period you'd have needed to ovulate so Clomid does help that process. If you haven't seen a doctor yet, you really need to go and get a professional opinion...good luck and lots of luck to you and your DH :)

Hello!

Really do think you need a referral to see a FS, they can then run some tests to see why this is happening.

I have same problem and after tests discovered I had underlying conditions (as you can see from my signature). Don't mean to scare you and on flip side could just be a minor prob that with help of clomid sorts itself out.

Best of luck!

Im the same - hardly any peiods without the Pill or Progesterone tablets.

We've been TTC 16 months now and have 4 failed Clomid cycles.

So if I were you Id go to the Dr as soon as possible to get some tests done and potentially get the Clomid. Your DH should also have his SA done before you start the Clomid as you don't want to putting yourself through hormone therapy if his swimmers are not great!

It doesn't need to be a long/difficult hourney but I certainly think you'll need help because No period = No ovulation = No baby!

Good luck! :flower:

I have not been to see a FS just yet. I plan on going to see my GYN next month and go from there. He had told me that I probably would need assistance getting pregnant. But now I am looking forward too that. My husband don't come home until end of june so I don't plan to start any drug or anything until then. I don't know what to expect, and very curious. And I am very thankful that you ladies can help me on this by sharing what you went through. I know its rarely an easy journey. I just really hope we all get our little ones this year!

After I got married I went off the pill and didn't get a period for 3 months. I happened to move and found a new family doc who ran some blood tests. Found out I had hypothyroid and once I got on the correct dosage of meds my periods got better. Good luck!

blessing2011 - Not easy not to worry but my Sister has no periods at all and has two lovely children, having said that I do think you do need to see your GP even for a basic blood test to see if you are ovulating.

Good Luck xx

ThanKs ladies, I do appreciate the feed backs. I am now back on birth control and having my cycles. My ob/gyn told me to come in while I am on my cycle to run some tests. I am waiting until next month to go back for the tests. Just holding on right now. But I hope all is well with you ladies! Baby dust to all!

Hiya, Im surprised the Dr will be runnings tests on you whilst you are on BC...it wont give you a true picture of what's going on because BC totally takes over your natural hormones...

Hey there really sounds to me like you need a 2nd opinion.Your doc is only prolonging the problem.Dont mean to scare you but it sounds to me as though you have PCOS.This can be treated with meds.1st off provera, this will bring on a good af.Then clomid will make you O.Hope this helped:)

Maybe so! I have been prescribed provera before and suppose to went back to have tests done when I started bleeding. But I didn't . Still WTT. I am in no rush right now cause my husband won't be home from iraq until end of june. Everyone was expecting me to pregnant now since he just came home for 2 weeks around christmas, but nope. I may look into getting my referral to the fs around end of march. And start my true diagnoses. I probably will call a fs office tomorrow to see how soon I should stop the bc before I make an appointment. I just feel some what regular when I have a period. Without it I feel huge!!! Lol. I still have baby on the brain though. So have anyone of you been on the provera and clomid?
