?Irregularities in Uterine Lining?

So, the results came back from my internal and external US. The nurse told me that they found irregularities and variencies in the thickness of my uterine wall. They need to look more into it, are having another doc take a look, and will probably have me do more tests.

I suspect endo because I have many symptoms of it and my mom had it. However, the nurse made it seem like they didn't know what was causing the "irregularities".

Anyone have exeperience with this? Please respond if you do....good or bad...I am going crazy with not having any other info!!!

It sounds a little strange. Health professionals can sometimes put things in a certain way so it sounds really bad though. It might be endo but her/his choice of words have thrown you off.

i had one last week ive been having a very irregular period i have always been irregular like every two months but now its longer and so frustrating but im nervous about my results.

I have since changed doctors and they are thinking something totally different now. The doctors on base (military) thought it was probably endo because of my uterine lining. I am currently seeing a NP at a obgyn office in a reputible office. She said that she isn't as concerned about my lining but she is more concerned about my CD3 blood results. She thinks I might have pcos. The other NP that I was seeing thought that my results were a little high, but no need for concern. She was upset with my sonogram becuase the report only mentioned microcysts on my ovaries, but they didn't measure the size of the cysts or the size of my ovaries. I am redoing the blood tests as soon as af comes. After that, I will probably have to do a lap and hsg but NPs main concern right now is my bloods and hopefully ruling out pcos.


I had a biopsy years ago because I had a couple of irregular paps. Everything came out clear and I never got an irregular pap afterward. Good luck with yours.
