Is 12 week potty shot accurate?

Had scan today... Measuring 12 weeks 5 days...baby was face down so no nub shot. Just a potty shot. Tech wouldnt even make guess. Said it could go either way. She said she saw three clear lines, which can indicate labia, hard to see in pic, but def there, but it could also be protruding like a penis. Can't upload pic (ugh) but wondering if potty shot really shows much at 12 wks

I'm not an expert but from what I have read it can be really hard to tell that early from a potty shot. Maybe there are some sonographers on here who might be able to help!

Really innacurate before about 15 weeks. Both genders can have a 'protrusion' this early.

I had my scan at 12+5 too - there was something protruding between the legs on the potty shot.
I'm now 32 weeks and she's a girl!
