Is female orgasm bad for implantation after ovulution?

I read in some articles that having an orgasm after ovulution can hamper the chances of implantation... Is that true?

Meaning me and hubby can't have sex with my having big O now for next 10 days till it is confirmed I am preg or not ????

I don't have any medical knowledge, but I'd suspect if the egg was that fragile that it made a difference, it wouldn't make it anyways. (well, that's my two cents).

I asked my doctor the same thing and she said not at all!! She did tell me that if you have a history of miscarriage then she might tell me otherwise, but with no history it should be A-OK to enjoy yourself!

Some people have even said that orgasms help thicken the uterine lining which helps implantation!

I have orgasmed twice since O and got a BFP today.. Whether it sticks is another matter but I was nervous about it too!

I had a chemical in nov.... I got bfp on dpo 12 and then af came right on time dpo 14 th, doc said it is very normal and would not affect my chances at all... Anyhow we didn't try seriously after that... Only now...

It's just 10 days .... So I guess I'll refrain... Well, neways dh thinks I'm obsess to much n he was in fact happy we did nt have to do bd after ovulution....wellll......... What can I say ....

I think all the BD on demand wears them out! My DH was the same way... "did you finally ovulate?? can we please take a break??" LOL! Poor guys don't know how to keep up

I honestly don't know if orgasm will mess implantation up. All I know is that I had a chemical pregnancy last month...I started getting symptoms at 5dpo, and at 8dpo RIGHT after orgasm (tmi) I started getting period cramps. They lasted until 11dpo (I thought "yes! everyone says it's a pregnancy sign!!!" and then got AF. My luteal phase is 15 days, so my period started 4 days early..my temp also hadn't dropped, and I've been charting for a while and it *always* drops 1-2 days in advance..I had a chemical pregnancy. I will not be having any fun sexy time this month, and since now I'm scared it'll happen again, I probably won't be having any orgasms until 8 weeks or so...

Thanks sweet mere.... That really really helps... Since I had a chemical too in nov.... We didn't try after that.... But exactly same happened to me... I had few o ,s after implantation and that must have resulted in chemical... Same here if I get bfp this cycle I won b having no fun till at least 9 weeks or so...

I've actually read that the girl having her big moment is actually really helpful! When you orgasm you release more fluids (the good kind) which are actually supposed to be helpful in aiding the sperm and the body's contractions from the orgasm are supposed to help move the sperm into the uterus sooner!

Heard that too !!

I wouldn't go overboard... but don't force yourself not to either. I think the body is well made, if your libido is really high during implantation, go for it ! And if not, don't force it.

Well I agree with you both ! Our bodies are much stronger than we think and this is a healthy and normal Phenomena ... Just that when it cOmes to ttc ... Once bitten twice shy ! If you don't get preg ... You look for any thing you did ...reason symptoms and then try not to do it next time ... U know what I mean ....

I've heard female orgasm is good *before* ovulation. I had them before O, but it's after O that could be a problem...don't know for sure, I just know that was a big thing that happened last month when I had my chemical. In fact, I researched it the day before and thought "eh, I'll do it, it's half and half"...now I won't do it again.
