Is he ready for weaning? Advice pls

Jack is 4 months now, he has been on 7oz extra hungry SMA since he was 10 weeks old.
He was sleeping through from 10 till 7am but the last couple of weeks he has started waking up again at 2 / 3am and having full bottles. Do you think he is ready for something else now?

Please can someone advise?

They have a killer growth spurt at 4 months... my Lo was waking every two hours for feeds at 4 months. I thought he needed weaning but we held out and it turned out to just be the growth spurt.

Would hold off for a few weeks and see if it passes Could just be the growth spurt

Thanks girls. I tried him with baby porridge but he didnt seem keen so I will wait a bit longer.
