A family in my mums road (the only Muslim family in their street) put a note through the door today (and some sweets !) explaining that it had been Ramadan, they then went on to apologise and say sorry if the coming and going at different times had disturbed anyone late at night. My mum felt terrible for them and is now worried that somebody In the street complained?!
My mum wrote a card back to them to say she was aware it was Ramadan and that they hadn't disturbed my parents at all, she also said she thought it was lovely they had chance to gather their friends and family together and that she hopes they enjoyed Eid.
Really hope they weren't made to feel bad but it does come across like an apology
