Is it time to bite the bullet??

Hey girls, just looking for your opinions on our situation..
Started NTNP in Aug 2010, did 6 months using CBFM, 4 months of Clomid, and 6 months of Gonal F..
Is it time to just bite the bullet and do IVF?? DH has a 25% sperm dna so we have been advised to do ICSI... possibly IMSI. In limbo at the moment girls
Its v expensive for us as we are in Ireland and have to pay for all treatment.

Did they say if IUI would be an option? That's only other route I can see. Maybe take a bit of a break TTC to gather the funds for IVF? We also have to pay 100% here in Canada so even though I haven't even begun fertility treatments, we're saving up for IVF.

Thanks for your reply.. DH is as confused as I am... We have been given some advice about trying to reduce DNA Frag through diet/supplements/clean living but dh is already v healthy and doesnt really have any bad habits... If we got frag down to 15% or below ideally, we could try an IUI but they are 1000 euro here and that would be money towards IVF/IVSI ... dont know what to do.
How much is IVFin Canada? Where abouts are you in Canada? x

Depending on medication coverage here, IVF can be up to ten grand. I'm in Western Canada. IUI on the other hand, is only $300 or so.

I get your thinking, why waste money on something that has little chance of helping when you could save that. I wish I could be more helpful but I would be just as confused it your situation.

If I could afford it I would bite the bullet, but for $20,000, that is not going to be an option for us.
