I want to put Louie into his own room now in a cot.

He's 11 weeks Monday.

He's too big for his basket and I'd like him to get used to the transition.

BUT, most the time he still relies on us to rock him to sleep or feed him to sleep with formula.

I know the guidelines say otherwise but the health visitor didn't seem worried.

go for it!
when we put lo into his own cot in his own room he slept soooo much better. and we did too!
the first night was hard for me as i missed him. but he slept so well i thought i should have done it sooner. the little fella likes his space lol!
i got a sleeping bag for him so he couldnt kick off the blankets and hes so cosy in there. :flower:

A sleeping bag was my next purchase!!!

Thanks for the support.

Think I might make a trial run.

He loves to have his arms stretched and his legs so hopefully a bigger space would benefit.

I hadn't thought about missing him...I am now though

He has been in his cot quite a few times for day time naps.

the first night i barely slept cos i was glued to the video monitor lol!!

thats great hes taken a few day naps in the cot. good luck with the trial run! :flower:

We moved our little man into his own room about a week ago. I had a hard time the first few nights because I missed him, but we are all sleeping so much better now!I think we were disturbing each other when he was in our room. He seems to love the space too. We go in in the morning to find him with his arms stretched out as far as they can go lol.

thats fantastic to know, thankyou! We got him a gro bag and he slept so much better last night!

Think I might try him tonight.
