Is it too late to switch to a midwife/birthing center??

I'm almost 32 weeks, and I just found out that birthing center births are covered by medicaid in my state! I feel so stupid for not researching this earlier - I just assumed they weren't! Anyway I would much prefer a birthing center birth if possible. Has anyone changed to a midwife this late in pregnancy?

It shouldn't be too late, last pregnancy I changed from community midwives and hospital birth to homebirth team really late - about 35 weeks I think.

It's never too late to switch care providers or to change your birth plan! I'd call them to see whether they'll take you. Good luck!
