Just wondering if its worth asking my doctor about labetolol to reduce my blood pressure and heart rate, my average blood pressure is 140/85-150/90 and my resting heartrate is 110.

Am worried my body won't cope with the birth and anything that would help I'd be happy to take.

have been reading and a lot of ladies on here have it and it helps a lot at a low dose.

Is it worth asking??

yes i think it is worth asking. have they investigated why you have tachycardia? has your thyroid been checked? mine went up during my pregnancy and turned out my thyroid had gone overactive triggered by the pregnancy.

It's def worth asking hun, esp if it's stressing you out. I'm on labetalol, the lowest dose and it's brought my BP down to around 125/75 which my doctor is really happy about. At the end of the day you have enough to worry about in late pregnancy so this is an easy win in my opinion.

xxx

Labetalol is very effective at bringing your BP down ive been on it twice, but your BP is only is only leaning towards just being high,id ask about your heartrate though xx
