Is macrobid safe?

I've been diagnosed with a bladder infection and given liquid macrobid. My pharmacist told me not to breastfeed while taking it, the pamphlet also says its unsafe. My OB told me it is safe to take while breastfeeding. So which is it? Has anyone else taken macrobid while BF?

Depends on how old your baby is it sounds like.
