I've found a delicious Strawberry and Raspberry tea from Twinnings. I know that raspberry leaf isn't great until labour but what about just raspberry?

What do you think?

Nope, sorry, it's the stuff in the leaves which some people believe has the affect and the cervix!

Nope, very different teas. You can drink Raspberry leaf tea any time to tone your uterus, but raspberry tea made from the fruit doesn't have all the same nutrients. So you can drink that as well, if you just happen to like the flavor. It just won't do anything to help your 2nd stage of labor.

Raspberry leaf is best drunk for many months prior to labor. If you drink it just right before then it won't have time to tone the uterus, that is what raspeberry leaf does.

No you definitely need raspberry LEAF tea. I swear by the stuff and recommend you drink as much as you possibly can starting now.
It isn't meant to help labour start, it tones the uterus making each contraction more effective and therefore the second stage of labour faster and less painful.
I have always drunk gallons of the stuff and only pushed for 6 minutes, 5 minutes and 2 minutes with my babies.
