Ridiculous, I know:haha:

Last time I got Anna weighed was 5 wks ago so we decided to go along today. She was sound asleep when we got there so health visitor said just to stick her on the scales with her clothes on.

How much should I take off before I plot it on her chart??

The reason I am asking is she has gained a bit more than I expected over the last 5 weeks.

She had on a wee pair of jeans and a thin top.

Maybe I should go weigh the clothes themselves......if only I had scales!!

So, would you say 1 oz or 2?

I think you will need to go and weigh the clothes. Do you have kitchen scales, because they will be good enough to weigh the clothes (not the baby though :winkwink:). But also consider that if you leave the nappy on her for a while and she pees a lot, it can be around 1/2 a pound in itself, so having her nappied and fully clothed will be really inaccurate. Perhaps try weighing a full nappy too :haha: She needs to be naked to be able to get an accurate reading.
