Is there a way of finding out the IVF waiting list?

I was just wondering if anyone knew if there was a way of finding out what the NHS waiting list for IVF is in my area?

Best bet is phone their admin department, they should be able to tell you. At my hospital they told me the wait time is approx 13 - 16 months from the date you are put on the list, which is usually AFTER they have done all their tests, and tried clomid if applicable. What stage are you at?

Think basically phoning up and asking is your best bet.

Had a Hycosy this week and results were fine but I have PCOS so consultant has said she will prescribe me Clomid at my next appointment in April. I think you take that for 6 mths but want to be prepared if they do tell me it is a 12 mth wait on IVF waiting list then I will be going private

Theres a website I found that tells you the waiting times for all PCTs, I have posted it before I think.
