I didn't see an Endo "Team", but maybe I missed it somewhere? I just came off BBC about 7 weeks ago, but have only had one period - the first of last month - so I'm not sure how regular my cycle is yet. I did take Clomid though on Day 5, so I guess I will find out this weekend if it worked.

Hi. I'm ttc and I have endometriosis. I'm new to this and not sure how the buddy thing works, but I'll give it a try. My husband and I have only been trying for 2 months, but I had been on birth control for 10 years. I know I'm only 24, but I went on when I was diagnosed at 14 with endo. We are going to try to avoid drugs for at least 6 months, but we'll see how patient I can be. I'm paranoid that the endo will come back while I'm off the pill, considering the way I was diagnosed was because it caused a huge ovarian cist.
Also, my cycle seems to be wacky. The first one was 45 days and this one was 38. Good look with the Clomid! Look forward to chatting with you!

I'm up for a buddy as well. My doctor thinks that I have endo but we're waiting for surgery. If I don't get pregnant within a few tries we'll have the surgery.

Right now I'm on cycle day 1, just coming off the pill with an IUI planned for early June if everything goes right. I have my first ultrasound and round of bloodwork tomorrow.

Good luck!

Hi Ladies,

Is there room for one more? I was diagnosed with Endometriosis at 18, they are unable laser due to location as so close to major veins etc. I am very lucky that I have a 3 yr old son. Last year in March I had a mmc and we have been ttc ever since. My doctor suspects my endo has spread to my tubes as af has been extremely painful the last few months (never been this bad since my teens). I have an appt with a fertility specialist next Weds and depending on what he feels will probably have to have another lap & dye.

Hi baby-cakes. I'm so sorry to hear about your mmc. Good luck at your fertility specialist appt.:hugs:

Hello, room for another one?

I was on BCP for abourt 15 years and came off so we could ttc in Jan 09. At that point I'd had a 10 year history with endo and 5 laps under my belt. About 5/6 months after I came off the pill, my endo got incredibly bad. I'd been having pain during sex for ages but it got to the point where we couldn't carry on ttc anymore because it was so painful. I had a lap in Dec and my endo was severe again and surgeon needed help to get rid of it. Had another lap in Mar 10 which involved a resection in my vagina amongst other things. The consultant says that I am all fixed up now and sex is pain free for the first time in 5 years.

I'm on CD1 today and AF is really painful as it's only the 2nd one since my last op. I just pray that I get pregnant before the endo comes back round again, or at least that it doesn't get too painful too quickly.

GL to all of you. It's good to have other endo sufferers to talk to. xx

Welcome ellieb. Sorry about all of the trouble and pain you have had with your endo. I'm only on cycle 3 and I'm hoping the ugly monster doesn't rear its head. Good luck and baby dust that you'll get your BFP soon!

Well, welcome to the club that no one wants to be a member of. I'm obviously no longer TTC, but I wanted to respond to this thread to hopefully gives others with ENdo some hope, :)
I think for us TTC is so hard because going off BCP makes all teh ENdo symptoms come back in full force. So you are left dealing with all the emotions of TTC, as well as your Endo.

What worked for me is, I went on the pill for a few months. Then when we were ready to start TTC, I went off BCP, and the Dr gave me Demerol - just to take when we BD - and Clomid. I also took Guafinesin when I was ovulating, and voila - we got pregnant the very first month we tried!

It's great to here what worked for you Freebird and that it happened so quickly after coming off BCP.

We're going to give it another 6 months of trying before we go to the docs, get checked out and look at the options. It's really useful to know what other people have done though so that you can go in with some knowledge - quite often the docs don't seem to have that knowledge themselves! I know a lot of people use preseed and softcups and all that kind of stuff but we aren't even doing that yet. I don't want it to become too scientific and procedural although if it does end up taking ages I'm sure we'll start doing those things in the end. It's a bit of a juggling act really because I don't want to do all of that stuff which can make sex a bit clinical but I also don't want to leave it long enough for the endo to come back again. I guess that at the first sign of pain during sex, we'll start doing all of those things!!

mouse - are you using any special methods or aids or are you just BDing at the right time of the month?

Actually, ellie, I'm BDing any ol' time of the month. lol. We try to aim for every other day. My cycles are still irregular so I don't know when I'm ovulating, but I am considering the CBFM for the near future. Like you mentioned I'm trying to keep the stress out of it, but then again, time is not on our side.

Hey Gille, Babycakes, and Ellieb, how's everyone doing? I'm CD 28, waiting at least 8 more days before testing. Anyone else?

Hey mouse_chicky, how are you doing in the wait? I'm testing on the 17th so I guess 11 days left for me.
I'm doing ok. I had a trigger shot to make sure I ovulated at a good time and I swear its giving me all kinds of symptoms.
I'm already ready to know so I can know what's the meds and what's not.

I'm going crazy with the wait, but I guess all in due time. I hope that trigger shot worked for you. Fingers crossed!

Is there room at the inn for one more? I was diagnosed with endo last June and had Lap done last July. Recovery from Lap was HORRIBLE and long. Many months. Had second round of hormone analysis and discovered a luteal phase deficiency. Just started my 2nd cycle of prometrium last night. Hoping this month is the month. Have been trying since our wedding night Nov 1, 2008. Its great to see women share and support each other here. Its hard to find people who truly understand what your going through. My dh has a huge family. His sisters each have 4 and one had #5 on the way. There has been at least 1 birth a year in 5yrs. Its hard to think "ok, its our turn" and that hasnt happened yet. Its very discouraging. But we are praying for GODS WILL for 3!!! I just also pray my emotions can hold up til it happens. I dont think I will even know what to think when i see a BFP :flower: ... ok anyway. Thanks for the listen. and special prayers for all you wonderful ladies TTC.

Hello everyone!

I haven't been on the boards much in the last two weeks as it's been the boring part of the cycle - AF and build up to Ov. I'm now about 2DPO though so I imagine I'll be on here daily again! I'm due AF on 21/06/10 but will be testing on 19/06/10 as it's DH's birthday weekend and I want to have a few drinks with him if I'm BFN.

Endo is a bitch of an illness!! I've had it for 10 years and I'm really scared that it'll come back before I get pregnant and I'll have to have surgery again. Until I came off BCP in Jan 09 I hadn't realised how much it was helping to control it so I can't help but worry that it's building up again with each cycle I have.

GL to everyone. Let us know how you get on with testing - I think we could all do with an inspiring story at the moment!

Welcome Godswillfor3! It's rough when everyone around you seems to be getting pregnant effortlessly, isn't it? I'm around the same waiting game as you, Ellieb; good luck on the 19th! I know we all want to get our BFP before endo takes over.
