Is this a positive or "close" OPK

Hi all,

I'm sorry if this isn't the right place for this question. I'm extremely new to TTC and have a silly question.

I've just started charting this month. I'm on CD10, and decided to try a wondfo OPK. I'm not sure I'm looking at this correctly. I know the test line should be just as dark as the control for it to technically be positive, but does this mean it's pretty close or am I totally reading it wrong? I guess I just wasn't expecting to see anything at all on the test and I'm wondering if there's something wrong with it, me, or how I'm readying it (which is why I took 2 :))

Thanks!

The more I look online at other women's tests, the more I realize that my lines are WAY too far apart. The second line must not be the control, but somehow a part of the test...? I'm super confused.

Not positive yet! The line that you have to look at is the very fain one that's closest to the control line! :) once that's as dark as the control line then you'll know for sure it's positive!

Thanks so much!

Some women have a gradual build up of lh and their tests get progressively darker until the big positive. Some women will have no such pattern and will have lighter and darker tests. Myself, I often have dark "almost" positive tests even when I am not close to ovulation.

BTW there is a gallery for OPKs and pregnancy tests :).

OK great, thanks for your help!
I'll definitely check the gallery out. I looked around for something like it but obviously I totally missed it.
