I need a gift for a 4th grade girl who is kinda crafty. I thought duct tape crafts might be a fun gift. I found these Alex toy kits, which seem like they would have simple enough instructions not to be frustrating, but I'm wondering if these look a bit too young? Should I look for something aimed a bit older? The age says 7+, do you think a 9-10 year old would find this stupid? I know there are other craft books out there, I just don't want to get something so complicated that she'll give up (or ask her mom to do everything for her). Any thoughts? I promise I won't be offended if anyone says this looks dumb, I'm a bit out of touch with the 4th grade crowd! Thanks!
