Went to dr today. 39+2 ftm 27 yrs old. Finally am 60% effaced and 1 cm dialated. He swept my membranes and told me I'd bleed when I wiped it was a lot more blood than I expected and "grainy like" w what looked like small blood clots?? Also asked about castor oil he told me go ahead it won't hurt baby just continue to monitor movement. So I did. I tried it 3 days ago also and it did absolutely nothing no poopsnor anything. So I took twice as much!
Has anyone else had their membranes swept and went into labor? Do u think this may work! Gosh im praying so!

I had one at 40+3 with dd amd had cramps after but they stopped then I had another at 40+6 and contractions started just after but were bearable until we had sex then they got more intense xx

Did u go into labor? Took a short name woke up and had a bm ( thanks castor oil) and am still bleeding some/enough bright red?!

Yea, dd was born less than 24 hours after the sweep.
iv never tried castor oil so unsure of that but I was told the best thing to do is keep active. Good luck xx
