Is this just a tantrum?

Sometimes I know what caused it but sometimes not.

She screams and screams, blood curdling. She's so furious. She stamps her feet in a funny little jig dance. This can last 45 mins, but more likely 20mins.

Why is she Soooo furious. It feels like she hates me and I'm finding it really hard to keep my cool, cos it all seems to be about nothing... Well, something doesn't quite go her way. Trying to calm her definitely make her worse. Ignoring her distress makes me feel a right bitch

Sounds like a toddler tantrum to me.

Just remember, yes she is cross with you when she's tantruming but only because she's starting to learn she can't do whatever she wants, whenever she wants and of course she's angry about that. To her it's not nothing so while I'd not make a huge fuss or get annoyed with her, I would give how she's feeling words 'you're cross because you can't have .....' Or 'I know you're cross because mummy won't let you do .....' Etc.
