Well, im really worried about Isabelles weaning.
For a few months now She has been having 3 meals. which consisted of:
Breakfast: Porridge
Lunch: Fruit puree
Dinner: some sort of fruity pudding.

But i have been worried because she wont eat any veg or meat.
So am i doing the right thing by stopping all the sweet food until she starts to eat her proper food, with veg in etc...

Any advice would be great

Oh i forgot to mention she is also breastfed on demand.

So have you tried chicken/veg/meat and she won't eat them?

No, she refuses to eat them, closes her mouth. And then at the same time if i offer her something fruity and sweet, she will eat it straight away

Have you tried giving her sweet veggies, sweet potato, peas, squash etc.

You can also mix apples and pears with some veggies so they taste better. I'm not sure what goes with what but I think the Annabel Karmel site has some ideas you could try.

If she still won't take that try one spoon of fruit and then one spoon of savoury.

Good luck. :hugs:

I agree with Tinylo i think they key to this one is not going to be to refuse her sweet things, she just doesnt know savoury.

Get her going on some mild savoury things, sweet potatoes etc, Brooke particularly likes one of the Heinz jars thats butternut squash, apricot and chicken bake or something

certainly a tough one, i too would keep perserving, def. with sweet veg, maddi loves apple with chicken and you can add a sweet potato and or parsnip, lots of luck x x
