Is this the start???

I am 38 + 3 for the last couple of nights I had sharp pains below not for long tho. Now this eve I counted 3/4 contractions 20mins apart and lasting 40 secs or so. They are no very painful but very very tight. Amd then I have slight lower back ache in right side going down my leg particularly my thigh. No show no nothing. Is this the start?

Thanks ladies, alot of activity going on. Not sure whats what tho lol no more regular contractions since last night. Still have lower back ache. Have my gp and a hospital app tom so all will be revealed☺ can't hold in my excitement!

I've had this the past three days in the afternoons/evenings, particularly a lot of of back ache which is how my mums labour started, but it eases off after a while unfortunately I'm intrigued to see if I get it this afternoon again as I've had it each day since Saturday. I've got my midwife appointment tomorrow so will see what she says. It's so hard trying not to get your hopes high when you think it could be it.
