Hi :flower:
I am breastfeeding my baby but have also been pumping to get rid of engorgment, so I've been freezing the milk as ice cubes. My three year old saw me doing it and asked if she could have some ice cubes, so I gave her some but made me think is this an odd thing to do?

Not weird at all!

I think it's very much okay to give your three year old an ice cube! Many still breastfeed or give toddlers expressed milk with their food, nothing wrong with any methods imo :)

Re your eldest son, I see nothing wrong or weird about him having milk from his mother, I think is nutritious for anyone, but I think it would be a breach of trust to do something you know he wouldn't like without talking to him about it. You wouldn't want him to be upset/angry if he found out.

:hugs:

Yeah, I agree with y'all, about the trust issue...that's why I haven't done it yet :)

I am wondering, did your 3 year old like the frozen cube?!

Yeah she did, she asked for more :haha:

Not at all weird! A lot of people make bm icelollies for weaning and teething etc. :)
