Oh thank God!!!!! My little man's looks just like that!!!! He has been on it for 8 weeks now and the last 2 weeks his has looked like this. But he has also been having small amounts of apple or pear so I didn't know what was causing it. If you trail through long enough on google you can find descriptions of 'army green' poo but I have yet to see a pitcure - until today!
With regards to the frequency, the longest James has gone is 5 days. At this point I got a prescription for lactulose, which the GP said 2.5mls once or twice a day. When I saw his consultant she said to try it 5mls once a day which he now has in his last bottle of the day and to offer up to an oz of water between feeds (he was 8 weeks then). This has made such a difference and he usually goes once a day now, very occasionally missing a day here and there. And as for the wind, this does stop after a few weeks, there is still a fair amount and its very noisy but he's not in any discomfort.
Oh and the smell.......that really is gross!
