ISO a Clomid Buddy - first round

I'm officially starting my first round of Clomid (50mg) before bed tonight. Looking for someone else that's also on their first round to share symptoms with. Anybody out there?

I am also on serophene ( clomid) and it's my first round.
I'm on day 4 though, tomorrow is my last day!

Have you noticed any side effects yet? I'm taking it at night to avoid them as much as I can.

Hi Ashtong.. that's exciting I had pretty much lost hope, but for some reason this Clomid is making me super hopeful and excited I'm still a little guarded, after 2 years of BFN's, but a girl can hope!

Why are you taking Clomid?

I've had a couple side effects, just last night while at work I experienced hot flashes for the first time. I've had a couple headaches, but it's been rainy here the last couple days and the weather change gives me migraines.

My story.. Well Dh and I have been ttc for 14 months. My periods were very irregular coming of the bcp. We kept going to the dr and they kept testing but couldn't send us to see a FS until we had been trying for a year. April we got our referral to the specialist, we went through all the testing and the end result is that I have a hormone defieciency and don't produce enough progesterone.
So af was induced with provara may 22, af showed up as expected june 05 and now am on CD7, last night CD6 was last dosage of clomid

I found out yesterday that I wasn't ovulating and the doc prescribed Chlomid! I'm so nervous and excited! I feel like this wait for AF is going to be the longest ever! I've never wanted AF to show up so badly in my life before! I'm trying not to get all excited and nervous and delay her even more but I can't help it! AF should show in a week (hopefully) I will definitely need a partner then! Ahh

I was in the same boat just a couple weeks ago. Dr had to give me something to get af started. It was 10 days of taking a prescription and they waiting... 3-7 days.. I thought I was going to go crazy.
Just finished my first round tonight. Now we wait for o!

I'm excited for you! I'm suppose to take my round on CD 1-5. I already have my opk box setting on the table ready to be used! Lol ...for some reason I have a good feeling about this! I hope it works!

I have my opks waiting on the back of the toilet for me!! Already pre-warned BIL that if he sees a little blue stick on the floor or anything don't throw it out and if you pick it up use the coloured side! haha.

I'm really excited too but trying really hard not to be. But I also have a really good feeling about this cycle.

I felt the same way about AF coming once I was prescribed! The first time in 2 years that I've been happy to see her!

Well, I took pill number two last night and this afternoon I got hit with a giant migraine I'm under a crazy amount of stress, though, because a bad storm hit our town last week and wrecked everyone's houses and totaled our cars, so the migraine might be from that, too.

We're still using OPK's, but we've started something else new this cycle, too: the CBFM. I'm hoping that it helps! Has anyone else ever used the monitor?

Oh when AF came for me after taking my prescription I was so happy. I couldn't remember being excited ever but not getting one for a year and ttc is not fun

I noticed yesterday that I started getting what seemed like o pains on both my side. and they were in the back not front, cm seems to be changing as well . Fxd

CBFM = Clear Blue Fertility Monitor. It's like a computerized OPK that's more accurate and gives you three levels of fertility: low, peak, or high (ovulation). They're expensive, so we agreed to wait awhile before ordering one. It was just a coincidence that we got it in the same month as Clomid. A lot of people on here had success stories with them, so we figured it was worth a shot!

And thanks! It's getting really stressful now that we're about a month away, but it'll be worth it

Oh no! I guess I didn't think about the fact that the other cycles could have other side effects I have been eating a lot... I thought I was just being a chunky monkey but I guess I can blame the Clomid! haha
