DS2 is REALLY attached to DS3 and will play rough and tumble with him. DS3 will actually go to DS2 quite happily but will scream the house down if DS1 picks him up. Anyhow, I caught DS2 carrying the baby around the house up-side down! When I told him to stop it and put the baby down, his claim was 'he likes it'. :dohh: Please tell me I'm not the only parent dealing with the 'older child v baby' thing!

Kids are pretty silly sometimes. I have a 10 year old, 5 year old and a 16 month old. My 10 year old isn't quite responsible enough to look after her siblings sadly, but she loves playing with her baby sister and will pick her up frequently and I feel my heart skip a beat each time. As long as your child isn't freaking out how he is being picked up and he isn't hurt, then just try to make sure they know to be careful. Good luck :)

Lol! My eldest is like this with the baby already. Niko just laughs at him :haha:
I’m dreading when he’s older and more mobile they’ll be up to all sorts lol x

OMG I am too! :haha: My middle child has ADHD and DS3 is SO much like him (without the ADHD). I can see those 2 sharing a LOT of bad ideas but until then, DS2 will frame DS3 for his behaviour because he won't really be able to stick up for himself for a few years yet! :haha:
