Hi guys

Are any of you undergoing iui/ivf treatment at the bridge?

Im keen to know how many scans are required for iui, the cost (looked on their website but the cost breakdown was confusing). Also, what are their opening hrs are. Thanks for any info.

It might be worth you posting over in Assisted Conception.

Hope you get some answers.

Ah good point... Thanks bears Mummy. Best of luck with your application on funding.

Thank You!, It seems like a lifetime since we put the app in.

Fingers crossed bears!

I've been told I don't get funding at all so just want my tests and results ASAP so I can move on with it. Are you looking into iui or ivf? Or other?

Thanks.

I'm not actually sure what they are going to offer yet, I am unexplained IF, so who knows?
My letter says referred for IUI, IVF or ICSI, so I'll just have to wait and see.

How come you don't get funded, if you don't mind my asking?

I don't have funding due to the area I live in sadly.

They will prob try iui I imagine. Assume you have had all the usual tests. Hope the bfp arrives soon for u! Have you tried complementary therapies at all?

Yes, I have had all the usual tests, bloods, HSG, SA, Laps to treat endo and re-section adhesions. I had 6 cycles of clomid, O'd on each cycle but no bfp.

What tests have you had?

I had been told on another thread that they may possibly send me straight for IVF, seeing as SA is good and there is no reason why IUI would help, but I'm really not sure yet.

Hi bears

I'd be interested to know if they try iui as the cm may be hostile. I know they don't check that here but who knows.

I've had Bloodwork, ultrasound done (results not yet received), hubby's had sa and I'm having an hsg next week so here's hoping everything's ok. After that I go back to the fs to discuss results. Don't have a date but I'm 6th in line for a cancellation appointment.

Good luck with the HSG and results!!

Don't believe all the scarey stories about the HSG, honestly it's just like having a smear. I suggest maybe taking a couple of nurofen just before the procedure.

You may be right about the CM, I've never been one to have much of any CM, except after O.

Good luck! If u get the chance, keep me posted.
