Hi ladies :)

Ok so I went in today (CD8) for my scan. I have two follicles on my right side (left side is broken and doesn't produce anything, ever!) measuring 20mm and 13mm. My lining is 7cm, which is a huge improvement for me (5.7cm last time on CD10 and IUI on CD12). I normally have short cycles anyways (24-26 days), and my IUI has been scheduled for Thursday - CD11. Does this seem early? I have been on Gonal F, Cetrotide and will trigger with Pregnyl tomorrow evening. Do these numbers (follicles/lining) seem ok? Would love to hear about numbers and success stories! Babydust to all! xxx

I don't think it is too early with medications. I think mine was on CD 12. Normally I don't O anywhere near that early but the meds can speed everything up (except the dreaded 2ww of course...)

20 seems fine for follicle size as it should grow a little more before your IUI. From what I remember I think the lining is ok and it will grow some too by the time it is time to implant. Be sure to use OPKs in case you O on your own before your trigger shot.

Good luck!

Thank you for your reply Mrs Bear! Although I had no idea I still should use OPK's?!?!?!?! I thought one of the meds I was on (Cetrotide?) holds off ovulation until I stop that and take the trigger shot? Ahhhh! I normally ovulate somewhere between day 10 and 12 anyways, so it is fairly normal for me - I just felt like this cycle I didn't seem to have too many days of injections and meds? Oh well guess we'll wait and see. IUI on Thursday so fingers crossed! Good luck to you too xxx

I didn't go in for my IUI till the day after I got a pos+ OPK... but I believe when they trigger ovulation, then they typically schedule the IUI for 1-2 days later? I'm sure they have it all planned as what works best for that clinic... I questioned it all myself (in my head lol) thinking was it too early? Too late? But we just have to trust that the FS know what they are doing... ;)

Best of luck it all works out perfectly hun!!!!

When I had my IUI they have told me to use OPK til I did the trigger shot. Since you had a couple days in between your scan and your trigger shot it would have been just to make sure your body didn't decide to ovulate on its own before then. I've never used Cetrotide though so that may make a difference. I always worry I am going to miss it...
