IUI Success Stories

Hi, I just wanted to know who has had luck with IUI. I want to get a picture of what i'm up against end of next month.

Please let me know how old you were when you had your successful IUI and how many times it took for you to have a successful IUI.

Thanks. I know that everyone is different and what you guys put won't necessarily be what happens for me, but i'm just so super excited about this whole prospect that I can't get enough info about it.

There is another very similar thread floating around this section about recent IUI success stories so worth searching for that.

However I was 32 when we conceived on our second IUI having been trying for 2.5 years with unexplained infertility / mild endo, lap and dye, 6 rounds of clomid.

Baby due on 13th April.

Hi casey,

I dont have any answers to your questions but im in the same boat as you. I will be going for my first IUI in April as well. Currently, I am on BCP's to regulate my AF. What stage are you at this time?

I tried Clomid for two months in DEC and JAN, but with no luck.

Right now I have done almost all the preliminary blood work, tomorrow will be the last of the blood work. Then i have a pap on the 12th and husband has to still get all his preliminary blood work. Just to make sure we are both clean of any infections and for me it's more then that. I have to get a Genetic testing for Cystic Fibrosis and I had a Glugose test, and then I had a bunch of other tests that I don't remember. lol

So, i'm half way through the preliminary work before i have my follow up appt where they will lay the groundwork for how the IUI will go down, and when everything will happen. I am super excited for that day.
