IUI Without Meds?

I realize this has likely been asked a million times, but I'm curious if anyone has had any luck trying IUI without medication. My RE outright refuses to give me any medication (Clomid, Femara, Trigger) because my bloodwork came back with an extremely high sensitivity to medications.

I'm 25 and everything is normal on my end, unfortunately husband suffers from severe MFI so we're stuck giving IUI w/donor a try. I feel a bit concerned that the RE is absolutely 100% opposed to medicating me, though.

I'm very regular and have used OPKs for two years (before learning about our infertility) but I'm the type of person who frets and stresses over everything lmao.

Anyone have any success stories for IUI without meds, or any advice?

I can't say that I have actually done an IUI with out meds but I thought I would give you my 2 cents.

If you know that you are ovulating and the hurdle is with DH then it all comes down to odds. You are putting all your money towards 1 chance of getting PG. Look at all those people who get PG naturally with only 1 egg. You are getting that extra boost to overcome the hurdle that you are running into.
