Pointless thread really but I had to share!
I went for my final dress fitting today and had it to take home! It's gorgeous and feels lovely on! It took a fair bit longer than expected because apparently I've lost weight, or at least had a change in body shape, since the last time I had a fitting (about 2 months ago!) and instead of just trying it on I ended up needing the bodice to be taken in by 3 inches!! I had a bit of a panic at first as the boning wasn't as heavy as I expected it to be and there was no way to wear a bra with it without it showing and being uncomfortable (I've tried a bra with boning of lots of strengths and it just didn't work for me!), which was a bit of a worry as I'm quite top heavy. Then it got taken in and I realised that I have a corset already with boning that light and it's fine and I also have a top with very light underbust boning and I don't wear a bra with that so a fully boned top should be just fine! Plus this one is made exactly to my size so it'll be OK! I'm just not used to be wearing something corsetted in which I can breathe!
It looks absolutely stunning on me and it does an amazing minimizing thing with my boobs!
I just won't be able to do too much dancing and headbanging at the reception, but it tends to be fairly difficult with a boned top anyway!
I'll post pictures when I get the official wedding ones back as I don't have any yet!! Only about 5 days to go!!
