So I'm new here. I stumbled across this site a week or so ago, and I still hesitate to join. First a little bit about me. My name is Amy, and I am 29. I live in MO with my husband, and our four daughters. (oldest will be 7 on Thursday, youngest is 21 months)
Right now, I am 10 weeks (today) and the baby looks great as of now (except for small indicator of downs syndrome). Anyway, I am pregnant for the 6th time, with 4 living children. I had a miscarriage back in May at 14 1/2 weeks. This time around I have what is known as a subchorionic hematoma. The pocket of blood behind the placenta is quite large. I was told I have a 60% chance of carrying to term. I have so much to worry about in addition to everything I've already been through in the last few months. Has anyone else here experienced anything I'm dealing with? What was the outcome? The subchorionic hematoma is what has me concerned the most. I don't know anything about it, and the doctor basically told me if I do anything other than sitting on the couch, then I have a good chance of miscarriage.
