Jonah....

I am just so attached to this name?
I think it is so cute and I remember the little boy in Sleepless and Seattle was called Jonah.
But my husband is worried it is associated with bad luck... (because of the whole capsized boat and whale story ) but actually the Jonah story has a happy ending because the whale spits him out and he saves the town of Nineveh...

Any thoughts???
Would we be crazy to call our little boy Jonah?

I don't think anyone will associate the name with bad luck!

Not my cup of tea -- a bit too biblical for me...

But if you love it -- go for it! It's a strong, traditional name... and not overly used...

Actually I dont really know what Im having but my DH thought he saw a swelling on the scan in genital area and the heart rate has been low but other then that could go either way!

If its a girl then I like:

I'm a fan, I love biblical names like Jonah, Noah, Jacob etc..
I think it's a good choice and he wouldn't be at school with 10 other Jonah's I don't suppose so would also be quite unique

I didn't want to be told the sex when I was pregnant with Joseph and they said they wouldn't look.

Then I could a glimpse of something that looked like a mushroom and since I hadn't been eating pizza recently it kind of gave the game away. I kept it quiet though, so everyone else was still surprised.
