I am currently claiming Jsa and me and my partner aren't living together he works full time 40 hours a week ..

We are looking at living together but I know this effects everything, would I still be able to sign on or does my partners hours mean I can't? I read online that if 24hr+ you can't so would I stop my claim when this happens? And what are you entitled to as a couple in my situation? (I did briefly look on gov website but it seems to confuse me).

If anyone can advise me be appreciated

I think unless you've paid enough tax yourself in a previous job where you would be on contributions based JSA for a set period you would see your JSA claim reassessed and if his income is over a set amount you wouldn't be entitled anymore. In terms of what you can claim it'll all depend on what he earns as to whether you'd be entitled to tax credits, housing benefit etc. I'm not sure though, I just think that's how it works x

This is right as far as I know. Any claims for tax credits hb etc would be joint so would go by combined income. There are online calculators to estimate what you might get x
